Description of service

​

Sentinel solar is a monitoring system for solar self-consumption photovoltaic systems. It is a digital platform, oriented to solar panel installation companies, engineering and electrical companies that promote and manage solar self-consumption for electricity production.

 The tool assists users in four stages: firstly in the acquisition of data from different devices and the standardization of all of them, secondly in the analysis of the collected data and the extraction of relevant information from them. The third module is oriented to asset management: the identification of possible errors and their correct correction. Finally, the fourth module allows multi-user access to the tool by defining different roles and permissions for each user.

The tool is online and is offered in SaaS (Software as a Service) mode.

Processing of personal data

​

Nnergix, as responsible for the platform, in accordance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 (GDPR) on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data and other current legislation on the protection of personal data, and by Law 34/2002, of July 11, 2002, on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSICE), informs you that it has implemented the necessary technical and organizational security measures to ensure and protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the data entered.

The platform consists of the website www.nnergix.com and the corresponding mobile application (hereinafter jointly referred to as the 'Platform').

 Nnergix processes the following personal data which it accesses because it obtains through the following ways:​

​

  • Platform Forms and User Profile Data: in order to register as a user of the Platform Application (the "User(s)" or "Users") and/or perform certain actions on the platform itself (for example, to contact Nnergix), the User must complete the registration or electronic contact form that appears on the Platform, providing a series of personal data necessary for the provision of our services. The personal data collection form specifies the mandatory data to be completed by users, and the refusal by users not to provide them will mean not being able to register as a User (in the case of the registration form) or not being able to perform the action determined on the platform (for example, contact us). Also, the fact of being a registered User on the Platform implies having a profile with open fields in which the User can indicate what he/she deems appropriate (except with respect to the Prohibited Data indicated below).

The data requested in the registration form are.

  • To create the main account as administrator, which is the main account of the client we request the following data: (1)name and surname, (2) email, (3) company, (4) metric system, (5) time zone, (6) password. 

  • To create the manager role, the (1) name, (2) email and (3) company you belong to are requested. 

  • To create the role of maintainer, we request the (1) name, (2) email, (3) company, (4) office phone, (5) address (HQ), (6) zones, (7) costs per hour, (8) costs per distance. 

  • To create the guest role we ask for (1) name, (2) email, (3) company, (4) custom ID, (5) phone, (6) address and (7) ID.

The data entered in the user files will only be used internally, either to manage incidents and contact the self-consuming customer or to contact the person in charge of managing the geographical area.

​

 

  • Data associated with navigation related to the Platform: When a User accesses any of the Platform formats, Nnergix collects the navigation data associated with each of the Users. This collects all actions performed by the user within the Platform associated with the user ID, IP address, general information about the device and its operating system / browser, date and time, as well as the IDs of the other elements associated with that action.

Why they are necessary

 

All the data mentioned above are requested in each role file so that the client has all the information of each person or entity that has access to the platform.

 

How it will be used

 

The data entered in the user files will only be used internally, either to manage incidents and contact the self-consumer customer or to contact the person in charge of managing the geographical area.

 

User consent

 

The user's consent is obtained through a web form, when requesting information regarding the product, it is mandatory to accept having read and understood the privacy policy.

General conditions of use

​

The availability of the Sentinel Solar service is defined as the possibility to access the data collected from the self-consumption installations (generation, import and export of electricity) hosted on the Nnergix Energy Management servers (service https://solar.sentinel-weather.com/) and that these data are updated with respect to those appearing on the inverters' websites from which they are read.

 

It also includes the sending of reports and alarms included in the product description.

Procedures with the service

 

  1. Once the contract is signed by both parties, an administrator account is created for the client.

  2. Support is provided to the client to request API credentials from each inverter/counter provider in order to synchronize the data to the Sentinel Solar platform.

  3. The platform is a SaaS service. When the assets are already on the platform, we provide customer support in case of technical issues.

​

You must guarantee compliance with the service levels indicated in the service level agreement you sign with all new customers. 

 

These guarantees do not cover interruptions due to: 

 

  • Failures in the data exchange service via API that are the responsibility of the inverter manufacturers. 

  • Failures in the customer's local network or internet. 

  • Any act or omission of the customer or a third party (including negligence or willful misconduct of the customer including the customer's failure to comply with agreed processes and procedures).

Support and maintenance 

 

The level of service offered for basic product maintenance is defined below.  

 

1. Customer Service: Nnergix Energy Management provides customer service to address: 

 

a. Technical inquiries. 

b. Operational inquiries. 

c. Commercial inquiries. 

d. Service incidents. 

e. Configuration changes. 

f. New configurations.

2. The customer may contact customer service by:

a. Opening a support ticket on the https://app.asana.com platform.

b. Attention by e-mail support@nnergix.com

​

3. Response time: The valid response time in case of notification of the incident/query directly to Nnergix Energy Management is 24 hours. Incidents reported after 14:00 on Friday can be dealt with as of the next working day.

4.Web support: Nnergix Energy Management offers its customers a web space where the customer can solve most of the questions about the service: www.nnergix.com/recursos.

5. Technical queries: The support of all technical queries will be through access to the support web or email account, detailed above. 

​

6. Incident resolution: Once the service has been implemented by Nnergix Energy Management, we define incident as any problem affecting the service.

​

a. Incidents of non-functioning access.

b. Incidents of generic navigation in the application (web).

c. Incidents of data reading and representation.

​

The resolution of such incidents will be carried out within a maximum period of 5 working days once all the requested information has been received.

 

  • The customer will be informed via e-mail about the result of the resolution of the incident. 

  • Failure to comply with the service levels will be associated with a penalty of 10% of the monthly invoice for the month in which such failure occurs.

Registration and authentication

 

  • Register administrator profile: To create the account we fill in the form with the following data: First name, Last name, Email, Company, Metric system, Time zone, Password. Once the data is saved, the account is created on the Sentinel Solar platform.

 

Once the account is created we send an email to the client with the credentials of their new account and the link (https://app.sentinel-solar.com/login) so they can access the platform.

 

  • Register Manager profile: The Administrative user will be able to create this role in the platform and will be asked for the following data: Name, Email, Company. And once saved, an automatic email will be sent with the platform link and credentials. This role will have the possibility to create other Managers, Maintainers and guests.

​

  • Register Maintainer: Only the Administrator and the manager will be able to create this role. To create this role, the following data will be requested: Name, Email, Company, Office phone, Address (HQ), Zones, Costs per hour (€/h), Costs per distance (€/h), Once saved, an automatic email will be sent with the platform link and credentials.


Register guests: Only the Administrator and the manager will be able to create this role. To create this role, the following data will be requested: Name, Email, Company, Custom ID, Phone, Address, ID. Once saved, an automatic email will be sent with the platform link and credentials.

 

Password creation terms

​

There are no password creation rules; the user can choose the complexity and length of the password.

 

Account security measures

​

Each user must have a password which is stored securely and encrypted so that only the user can access the account.

 

Nnergix staff is committed to:

 

  • Treat the information provided by the customer as confidential.

  • Not to disseminate to other persons or organizations the information derived from the development and operation of the services, which will be kept strictly confidential.

  • Nnergix considers as confidential all information generated during the commercial and contracting phase, and undertakes not to disclose or provide it to third parties without the prior written consent of the customer.
