We are looking for a Data Engineer / Scientist to work on designing and maintaining cloud-native tools for large-scale data analysis in the renewable energy industry. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working on open-ended projects with an international team, have demonstrated experience on prototyping, testing and maintaining data pipelines from raw data to final predictions with tools such as DVC, MLflow, Airflow or Luigi. Demonstrable data analysis skills with Python packages such as NumPy, pandas and Dask is required, as well as experience with big data

 challenges. The candidate is expected to write clean and robust code that can be easily scaled to handle large amounts of data for intensive calculations. Familiarity with data analysis techniques and scientific context is a great plus.

The selected candidate will be part of the team that develops a complete software tool for a large industrial company. The team has multidisciplinary profiles such as Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Front and Backend Developers, Scientists, etc


  • BSc, MSc or PhD in Computer Science or similar disciplines

  • Demonstrated Python programming skills

  • Proficiency in data analysis with NumPy, pandas and Dask

  • Experience in setting-up data versioning / pipelines for Machine Learning applications

  • Experience with DVC, MLflow, Airflow or Luigi

  • Experience with AWS and Docker

  • Knowledge of coding best practices (clean code, OOP, ...)

  • Experience with agile development methodologies (Scrum, TDD, ...)

  • Experience with version control tools and continuous integration

  • Being a “problem solver”, positive attitude and ability to work in a team

  • Interest in renewable energy and the energy industry

  • Good communication skills

  • Fluent English, both written and spoken
