We are looking for a Python Developer to work on developing, testing and maintaining several python packages and tools used for data analytics. The ideal candidate should have strong Python programming skills, as well as experience writing clean and robust code that can handle large amounts of data. Demonstrable experience with Python packages such as NumPy and Pandas is a plus.

The candidate should be comfortable working on open-ended projects with an international team in evolving projects. Familiarity with data analysis techniques and scientific context is a great plus.

The candidate will be part of a highly motivated and experienced team of Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Front & Backend Developers and Scientists facing great technical challenges in the field of renewable energies. Hybrid analytical and data-driven methodologies will be applied using cutting-edge technologies to maximise the efficiency and robustness in the design of wind farms. There are multiple facets involved in this analysis requiring the usage of wind resource assessment, dynamic computational fluid dynamic models, and wake and blockage models. The challenge is to create a set of robust applications whilst maintaining the possibility of later incorporating them into a single seamless pipeline.


  • BSc, MSc or PhD in Computer Science or similar disciplines.

  • Strong Python programming skills.

  • Experience in building production-ready code by applying best practices (automated testing, CI/CD, clean code, Documentation, version control...)

  • Used to work with agile development methodologies (Scrum, TDD, …)

  • Experience with version control tools and continuous integration

  • Being a “problem solver”, positive attitude and ability to work in a team

  • Interest in renewable energy and the energy industry

  • Good communication skills

  • Fluent English, both written and spoken


  • Used to work in data analysis within scientific environments with tools such as NumPy and pandas

  • Knowledge in tools such as Jenkins, DVC, ML-flow, Airflow or Luigi

  • Familiar with AWS and Docker

  • Able to communicate in Spanish
